A method and apparatus for transmitting 10 gigabit optical fiber channel service in optical transport network are provided, belonging to the technical field of optical transport network. A sender adjusts the rate of the 10GFC service signal received from the user side to a 10GE signal rate, then maps the 10GFC service signal after the rate adjustment into an OTU2e/ODU2e signal or an OTU1e/ODU1e signal, and sends it to the optical transport network for transmission; a receiver de-frames the OTU2e/ODU2e or OTU1e/ODU1e signal received from the network side into the 10GFC service signal with a 10GE signal rate, then adjusts the rate of the 10GFC service signal to the standard 10GFC service signal rate, and sends the 10GFC service signal after the rate adjustment to the client side finally. The invention realizes hybrid and convergent access of multiple different 10G services,and effectively utilizes bandwidth resource of the optical transport network. |
