OIL LEAK DETECTOR OF OIL STORAGE TANK AND METHOD OF ESTABLISHING THEREOF

PURPOSE: An oil leak detector installed in a vertical bore hole of an oil storage tank and an installation method thereof are provided to improve the detection efficiency by letting leak oil quickly flow into a perforated pipe and transferred to an oil leak sensing member. CONSTITUTION: An oil leak detector for an oil storage tank comprises a perforated pipe(30), an oil leak sensing member(40), and a controller. The perforated pipe is installed vertically in a bore hole(20) of the oil tank. The oil leak sensing member keeps an interval between two cables with two spacer lines. The twisted cables are enclosed with a porous polymer tube. A signal line(41) and a sensing line(42) of the oil leak sensing member are drawn to the controller.
