BALLAST WATER MANAGEMENT METHOD FOR CARGO SHIP

PURPOSE: A ballast water managing method of a cargo ship is provided to reduce operation costs according to the driving of ballast water treatment equipment by using drinking water as ballast water. CONSTITUTION: Drinking water is filled in a ballast tank(3) of a cargo ship(1) from a drinking water supply facility through a terminal connection part and a ballast line. The drinking water supply facility is designed to supply the drinking water to a cargo ship within 12 hours. The cargo ship comprises a device for injecting disinfectant to the ballast tank.
