<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently regenerate a diesel particulate filter in a postprocessing device arranged in an exhaust passage of exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: This diesel engine includes: a supercharger TB; and an exhaust gas postprocessing device 46 having the diesel particulate filter 46b for collecting particulate matter PM in at least the exhaust gas, on the downstream side of an exhaust turbine 45 of the supercharger TB, and is constituted so as to regenerate the diesel particulate filter 46b by throttling a throttle valve 47 on the downstream side of the postprocessing device 46 when detecting that differential pressure between pressure sensors 52 and 53 arranged on the upstream side and the downstream side of the diesel particulate filter 46b is pressure of a predetermined value or more. The engine is also provided with an engine control unit 100 for making control so as to reduce an engine speed up to the vicinity of a low idle speed after a predetermined time, and to open the throttle valve 47. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
