<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of further stabilizing combustion, by avoiding the occurrence of combustion instability such as a misfire in reacceleration operation during deceleration operation or after finishing fuel-cut operation, due to the presence of residual EGR gas remaining in an intake passage, when an internal combustion engine transfers to the deceleration operation when performing EGR. <P>SOLUTION: When the internal combustion engine transfers to the deceleration operation when performing the EGR, when an EGR quantity in an operation state just before deceleration is a predetermined value or more (S102), a combustion form is switched to stratified combustion with the fuel injection timing of the internal combustion engine in the deceleration operation as a compression stroke (S103). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
