<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an editor device for displaying a drawing function or an image display function when the function is executed by a programmable display unit. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A ladder editor 13 has instructions for drawing to specify an operation to draw an object on a picture displayed by a programmable display unit 2 on the basis of a predetermined parameter at a predetermined drawing position. A drawing setting part 131 displays a setting picture for setting a parameter necessary for drawing, and sets a parameter input to the setting picture by a user to the instructions for drawing. A controller part 22 of a programmable display unit 2 instructs an HMI processing part 21 in charge of display processing at the programmable display unit 2 so that the drawing object can be plotted at the drawing position on the basis of the set parameter when executing the drawing instructions included in the ladder program created by the ladder editor 13.
