PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably open and close a load even if external noise and fading occur in a load control system. SOLUTION: A lighting control system has: a remote controller that changes three communication modes having mutually different antenna power output to an antenna and can transmit a lighting signal by radio waves; and a switch capable of receiving the lighting signal. When the operation button of the remote controller is pressed, a radio transmission circuit section transmits the lighting signal in either transmission mode under the control of a control section. The control section changes the transmission mode to a first transmission mode in initial operation in a series of continuous operation interrupted by performing operation again within a prescribed amount of time after the operation immediately before, and changes the transmission mode to second and third transmission modes in second operation and third operation, respectively. The antenna power is changed automatically, thus enabling reliable communication even under environment having external noise and fading. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
