PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise suppressing device for suppressing noise according to use, a mobile phone having the noise suppressing device, a noise suppressing method using the noise suppressing device, and a computer program for implementing the noise suppressing method by a computer. SOLUTION: When the use of the mobile phone is changed, a microphone array processing control section 24 controls switches 22 and 23 according to the new use, and sound signals from sound input sections 6 and 7 are input to either of micro array processing sections 26 and 27. When the use of the mobile phone is changed, an information changing section 25 obtains a use environment information from a microphone array processing section 26 (or 27) corresponding to the old use, and transfers it to the microphone array processing section 27 (or 26) corresponding to the new use. The microphone array processing sections 26 and 27 performs microphone array processing to the sound signals from the sound input sections 6 and 7 by using use environment information from an information changing section 25.
