摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus which achieves both high contrast visualization having excellent time resolution and highly accurate visualization. SOLUTION: An RF coil unit 8 detects magnetic resonance signals generated by a subject 200. A gradient magnetic field coil unit 6, a gradient magnetic field power source 7, the RF coil unit 8, a transmitter 9T, a receiver 9R, a sequencer 10 and an arithmetic unit 11 repeatedly collect data regarding the detected magnetic resonance signals during an imaging period and arrange them within a k space. In particular, the data are collected in accordance with one of a plurality of different collection patterns that are determined in such a way that data collection frequency of an area being a part of the k space is different from that of the other areas. The arithmetic unit 11 repeatedly reconstitute an image of the subject 200 on the basis of the data arranged within the k space. A host computer 16 controls the sequencer 10 and the arithmetic unit 11 in the middle of an imaging period to change the collection pattern to be used. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
