RESIN FILM, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE RESIN FILM, AND ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT

Disclosed is a resin film that can realize a high level of barrier properties.  The resin film is produced in a roll form and is used as a resin film for organic electroluminescence.  Also disclosed is an organic electroluminescent element using the resin film for organic electroluminescence.  The resin film is characterized in that the resin film comprises a smooth layer on both surfaces of the resin film, the difference in pencil hardness of the surface of the smooth layers on both sides of the resin film defined by a scratch hardness (a pencil method) according to JIS K 5600-5-4 is two to four grades, and the pencil hardness of the surface having a higher hardness is H to 5H.
