The rotor (1) has a base body (3) with a bearing section (4) arranged between a blade retaining section (5) and a coupling section (6) in an axial direction, where the rotor is formed as a sintered part. The coupling section has a coupling element (10) extending from a coupling front surface (12) of the coupling element in the axial direction. A circular axial bulge (14) with a raised surface (15) is provided radially outside of the coupling front surface of the coupling element, where the raised surface surrounds the coupling element. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a rotor.
