<p>The device has a drive unit (3) for driving an ejection lever (2) over a drive step (4) that comprises multiple drive pinions (5-11). An overload protection unit interrupts a drive movement of the ejection lever during exceed of given overload moment in the drive step. The overload protection unit is designed such that one of the drive pinion moves away from a contact position with another drive pinion at a driven condition of the drive unit during exceed of given overload moment and the drive movement is interrupted at an ejection lever. An independent claim is also included for a furniture with a furniture part.</p>
