The sensor has an optical lens (1) provided with a light incident surface (11) and light exit surfaces (3, 4). The lens has a cylindrical base body with a front side. The lens is designed such that light in a preset angle range hits the incident surface of the lens to reproduce on a light detector e.g. photo diode. The exit surfaces are arranged at the incident surface opposite to an end of the sensor. The exit surfaces are inclined at respective angles with respect to the incident surface. An intersection line (5) of the exit surfaces lies within a projection of the incident surface.
