<p>A solid deodorizer (14) for use on the inside surface (12) of an ostomy pouch (10). The solid deodorizer include a deodorizing mixture (24) and a carrier (16) by which the deodorizer is attached to the inside of the pouch. The carrier has filaments (22) which are molded into the mixture, and an adhesive (20). The deodorizing mixture includes activated charcoal, glycerin, and wax, and may include one or more of sodium bicarbonate, stearic acid, and/or starch.</p> |
