#CMT# #/CMT# Adjacent gear shafts (3, 4) in the casing, are each associated with a sliding internal ring gear. A locking device (7) slides on a guide (9) supported on the casing. When sliding one of the gear rings, the other is locked against axial sliding on its gear shaft, preventing it from leaving the neutral position. The locking device (7) is fixed axially on the guide (9) and is led transversely to its longitudinal axis (L), with play (S). Guide surfaces (10, 11) engage opposite surfaces (12, 13) on the rings, to achieve the required locking. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# A gearbox design. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# This simple locking arrangement is suitable even for gearboxes with spatially-separated gearchange components.
