TOOTH PASTE COMPRISING OF MISTLETOE EXTRACT

PURPOSE: A toothpaste composition containing Korean mistletoe extract as an active ingredient is provided to ensure antibacterial effects and anti-inflammatory efficiency to Helicobacter pylori. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical functional toothpaste composition contains 0.5-2 weight% of mistletoe extract as an active ingredient. The pharmaceutical function is antibacterial function to Streptococcus mutans, Porphyromonas gingivalis or Helicobacter pyrori. A method for preparing the mistletoe extract comprises: a step of stirring 299g of Korean mistletoe in 1L of water at 4°C for two hours and stirring to obtain cold water extract of the mistletoe; and a step of freeze-drying the extract to obtain cold water extract powder.
