NAVIGATION DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING ORDER FOR MERCHANDISE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cancel an order for merchandise made in a navigation device which enables its user to select a desired drive-through shop existing in the periphery of a route and order the merchandise beforehand.

SOLUTION: The navigation device 20 includes; a communication means 16 for performing communication with a server 30 of the selected desired shop; an ordering means 13 for ordering the merchandise by using a menu image acquired from the server 30; a cooking-time acquisition means 21 for acquiring from the server 30 a time required for cooking the ordered merchandise; an estimated-time-of-arrival calculation means 15 for calculating estimated time of arrival to the shop; and an order-decision determination means 22 for calculating the time when the order is decided or the position of the vehicle considered to be at the time, based on the estimated time of arrival and the cooking time, and determining the decision of the order. Based on the time for the order to be decided or the position of the vehicle considered to be at the time calculated by the determination means 22, the navigation device 20 allows transmission to the server 30 of data for canceling the order, until the navigation device 20 reaches the position considered to be or the time comes.
