<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a developer from being dropped in a place which is not in a developer replenishing path while a storage container is inserted into an apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Front sides of sidewalls 122A and 122B enter between projecting portions 154A and 154B and a shutter 120 is moved between regulation plates 152A and 152B when a toner cartridge 100Y is inserted. The sidewalls 122A and 122B are tapered in thickness as they go toward their front sides and top ends of both the sidewalls surely enter between the projecting portions 154A and 154B when the toner cartridge 100Y is inserted, so that a toner is not dropped from an opening 115 before the opening 115 faces a toner replenishing port 153 because the top ends of the sidewalls 122A and 122B do not collide with the regulation plates 152A and 152B, the shutter 120 is not moved and the opening 115 does not appear. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
