<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exert a shock absorbing function airbag device 2 for rear end collision, by surely deploying and inflating an airbag cushion 21 between a head part of an occupant and a back door 1, even if a seat back 53 is moved backward by an impact when the rear end collision occurs. <P>SOLUTION: A rear seat 5 can move backward by receiving a load of the occupant, when the seat back 53 receives a rear end collision load. The air-bag device 2 has an inflator 22 supplying gas into the airbag cushion 21. The airbag cushion 21 includes a cushion part 21d deployed and inflated from an upward to a downward thereof to be interposed between the head part of the occupant and the back door 1 by gas from the inflator 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
