<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the stress applied to a refrigerant pipe by a liquid hammer, and a liquid hammer sound in an air conditioner equipped with an opening/closing valve in the refrigerant pipe. <P>SOLUTION: In the air conditioner, a branch piping section 17a composed of a plurality of discharge side branch pipes 47, 48 connected in parallel with each other, is disposed on the refrigerant pipe 17, discharge side opening/closing valves 41, 42 are respectively disposed in the discharge side branch pipes 47, 48, the discharge side branch pipes 47, 48 constituting one branch pipe section 17a are joined in a joining section 49, lengths of the pipes from the joining section 49 to each of the discharge side opening/closing valves 41, 42 are different from each other, and a control section 30 is disposed to control the discharge side opening/closing valves 41, 42 respectively at different timing so that the refrigerants discharged from the discharge side opening/closing valves 41, 42 are joined in the joining section 49 in switching the discharge side opening/closing valves 41, 42 in the discharge side branch pipes 47, 48 from a closed state to an opened state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
