<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core material of a handrail, and the handrail fitted with the core material integrally formed with a fixed part fixed to a hollow part of a handrail post, and a thick-walled embedded part which is embedded in a skeleton side hole, by drawing one end of a metal pipe or a channel member by machining. <P>SOLUTION: The core material 1A, which uses a square pipe 10A as a steel pipe, comprises the fixed part 11 fixed to the hollow part 21 side of the post 20 constituting the handrail 2, and the embedded part 12 embedded in a hole 30 on the skeleton 3 side of a concrete building.
