PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus useful in improving the image quality of an ultrasonic image and useful for diagnosis by utilizing body temperature information obtained by measuring the body temperature of a patient in the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus comprises: an ultrasonic probe including a plurality of ultrasonic transducers which transmit ultrasonic waves to a subject according to a plurality of driving signals and which output a plurality of receiving signals by receiving ultrasonic echo propagated from the subject; an image generating means for generating image signals representing the ultrasonic image by providing the ultrasonic probe with a plurality of driving signals and processing the plurality of receiving signals output from the ultrasonic probe; a display part for displaying the ultrasonic image based on the image signals generated by the image generating means; a clinical thermometer for measuring the body temperature of the subject to obtain the body temperature information; and a body temperature information processing means for processing the body temperature information obtained by the clinical thermometer.
