PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a general operator who does not have special skills to perform an operation for mounting a pressure detection plug while ensuring safety and favorable ease of operation even while gas is flowing. SOLUTION: The pressure detection plug mounting tool includes a shutter plate mounting part 10 which can be mounted to the periphery of a plug mounting place L1 of a gas pipe L in an airtight manner and includes a shutter plate 11 in an openable/closable manner for opening or blocking a plug mounting port L1a of the plug mounting place L1 and a plug turning part 20 which is mounted outside the shutter plate 11 of the shutter plate mounting part 10 removably in an airtight manner and performs an mounting operation or a removal operation by turning an existing plug mounted to the plug mounting port L1a or a pressure detection plug to be mounted to the plug mounting port L1a with the shutter plate 11 open.
