A light quantity correcting section sequentially obtains errorsδbetween the target light quantity T and the measured light quantity P in measuring the light quantity a plurality of times using different gradation values D, and sequentially corrects the coefficients a, b to minimize the errorsδ. The light quantity correcting section corrects the light quantity of a light source part by adjusting at least one of the pixel value and the set value of a driving circuit based on the corrected coefficients a, b.
