PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology allowing light quantity correction according to the change of light source characteristics. SOLUTION: A measured light quantity P is represented by P=a×D+b (D: a gradation value and a, b: coefficients), and a target light quantity T is represented by T=M×D (M: a constant). A light quantity correcting section sequentially obtains errorsδbetween the target light quantity T and the measured light quantity P in measuring the light quantity a plurality of times using different gradation values D, and sequentially corrects the coefficients a, b to minimize the errorsδ. The light quantity correcting section corrects the light quantity of a light source part by adjusting at least one of the pixel value and the set value of a driving circuit based on the corrected coefficients a, b.
