<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more surely prevent electric corrosion of a connecting part between an electric wire and a terminal metal fitting. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Waterproofing coating 30 is applied in advance to a terminal of a core wire 11 exposed in an aluminum electric wire 10, and a wire barrel 25 of a female terminal fitting 20 is caulked and crimped to the terminal of the core wire 11 in this state. In the crimping part of the wire barrel 25, the core wire 11 and the inner face of the wire barrel 25 are contacted while the waterproofing coating 30 is peeled-off, and they are electrically connected. Although the core wire 11 is contacted with the bottom plate 22 of the female terminal fitting 20 in the front and back of the crimping part of the wire barrel 25 in the state that the core wire 11 is exposed, since the waterproofing coating 30 is applied to the core wire 11, sticking of the moisture to a contact part of both is prevented not to cause the electric corrosion.
