SYSTEM FOR DETECTING MOTION-RELATED POTENTIAL SIGNAL, HEADSET USED IN THE SAME AND SYSTEM UNIT USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for detecting a motion-related potential signal which detects accurately and in real-time a motion-related potential signal only by using electroencephalogram data acquired from electrodes arranged on the scalp without using an electromyogram, a headset used in the system, and a system unit using the system.

SOLUTION: The system includes a correlation value calculating section 1 that carries out frequency analysis of data D1 and D2 of electroencephalograms EEG1 and EEG2 acquired by different deriving methods or by different electrode layouts from a plurality of adjacent positions on the scalp and calculates a correlation value between the electroencephalograms EEG1 and EEG2 for each frequency. The system detects a motion-related potential signal on the basis of the correlation values of a predetermined frequency band.
