<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection type display device, projecting a projection image projected from one projection optical system on a plurality of screens in a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: In the projection type display device, a plurality of images displayed in a plurality of image display areas 20a, 20b in an image display element 20 are projected on a plurality of the screens by projection light flux emitted from an emitting part of the projection optical system 30A. The plurality of image display areas are formed in the independent areas in the image display element, the images projected on a plurality of the screens respectively correspond to the plurality of image display areas, and a plurality of the screens are disposed so that they do not cast a shadow on each other by projection light flux when the projection light flux is emitted to a plurality of the screens from the emitting part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
