VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUND TREATMENT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in the conventional volatile organic compound treatment apparatus which decomposes a volatile organic compound (VOC) by electric discharge, thermal and electrical bonding between a solid dielectric and electrodes which stabilizes electric discharge occasionally became weak.

SOLUTION: The volatile organic compound treatment apparatus includes: an adsorbent 1C coming into contact with a gas to be treated and adsorbing a volatile organic compound; a pair of electrodes 1A and 1D which are arranged with the adsorbent 1C sandwiched in between and which generate electric discharge when an AC voltage is impressed; a solid dielectric 1B which is arranged amidst the pair of electrodes 1A and 1D; and a power feeding layer 1Q which is provided between the dielectric 1B and the electrode 1D and which thermally and electrically bonds the dielectric 1B and the electrode 1D.
