PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle from running while receiving an adverse effect of noise by detecting poor connection of a ground wire with a very simple circuit. SOLUTION: A vehicle power supply includes a running battery 11 for running a vehicle; a monitor and control circuit 21 which monitors/controls the running battery 11 and is connected with an electrical equipment battery 3 through a power line 2; and a battery case 1 connected to a vehicular chassis ground 5 through a ground wire 4 while housing the running battery 11 and the monitor control circuit 21. The power supply further includes a connection state detection circuit 40 for detecting a connection state of the ground wire 4. The connection state detection circuit 40 detects a connection state between the battery case 1 and the power line 2 of the electrical equipment battery 3 through the ground wire 4 and the vehicular chassis ground 5, thereby to detect a connection state of the ground wire 4.
