PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for thermal cycling treatment to perform a precise and efficient test without generating useless variation of test results, while reducing a total initial cost, space and energy consumption. SOLUTION: The thermal cycling treatment apparatus includes a treatment block to hold a plurality of test tubes C holding a treating object solution in a manner to enable thermal exchange, a thermo-module using a Peltier element for heating and cooling the treatment block, and a controlling function unit to perform the thermal cycling treatment by controlling electric current to at least the thermo-module. The thermal cycling treatment apparatus having the above construction is further provided with a plurality of treating units 4a having treating blocks 2 and thermo-modules 3, a main housing 5 for loading the multiple treating units 4a, a plurality of controlling sections 6a to independently control the thermo-modules 3 of each treating unit 4a, and the controlling function unit 8 having a controller 7 to comprehensively control the controlling sections 6a.
