PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surge protection circuit capable of suppressing the generation of distortions in a high-level signal. SOLUTION: The surge protection circuit with a filtering function includes a filter circuit, having a series LC resonance trap unit between a high-frequency signal transmission line LN1 and the ground (high-pass filter constituted of an inter-terminal capacitance Ct of diodes D1 and D2, capacitances C1, C2, and C3, and an inductor L1), and surge protection diodes (diodes D1 and D2). The inter-terminal capacitance Ct of the surge protection diodes (diodes D1 and D2) is used as the capacitance of the series LC resonance unit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
