PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile head joint technology which dispenses with welding operation in a construction site, facilitates construction, and can be improved in working efficiency. SOLUTION: A pile head joint member 1 is a member which is fitted to the pile head of a pile laid under the ground from the upper end side, and includes a body portion 11 having an engaging hole 13 through which the pile head projecting from the ground surface can penetrate, a pair of expanded diameter portions 14 installed on the peripheral edge of the engaging hole 13 for allowing a pair of engaging pieces projected on the outer periphery of the pile head and the pile head to penetrate the engaging hole 13 in the axial direction of the engaging hole 13, and a plurality of reinforcing materials 12 installed upright around the engaging hole 13 of the body portion 11 and along the axial direction of the engaging hole 13. The pile head joint member 1 is mounted to the pile head of the pile so that the pile head and the engaging pieces penetrate the engaging hole 13 and the expanded diameter portions 14 of the body portion 11 of the pile head joint member 1 respectively, and then the pile head joint member 1 is rotated by a predetermined angle to form a pile head joint structure 10 where the pile head joint member 1 is undetachably mounted to the pile head.
