<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the operation of an ultrasonic transducer by eliminating deposition of evaporation residue on the ultrasonic transducer. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A dishwasher includes an atomizing device 39 atomizing liquid for atomization stored in a storage section 35, and control means 31 controlling the atomizing device, wherein the atomizing device 39 has an ultrasonic transducer 32 for atomization disposed in the storage section to come into direct contact with wash water, and the control means 31 is configured to operate the ultrasonic transducer 32 for the atomization for a predetermined time after a rinsing step and remove droplet attached to its surface.
