摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein even though a printer is adjusted so as to obtain a high image quality when it is manufactured, strain is generated in a frame of a body due to handling during transportation, or the like, and a deviation is generated in positional accuracy abd high image quality is not obtained. SOLUTION: In an image recording apparatus, at an image recording position, a supporting shaft penetrates through a head holder in the main scanning direction and is provided with a locking part, having a cutout and a projecting part at one cut chip. Both ends of the support shaft are fixed so as to engage the opening of the body frame, and the head holder is supported by three points in the vertical direction by one point of a support ring movable in the sub-scanning direction. During transportation, the cut chip is butted against the opening part of the body frame, the locking part is held so as to have a clearance, and by fixing it on the body frame by one point so as to turn the corner of the head holder under a free condition in the main scanning direction and in the sub-scanning direction to the body frame, the influence on the head holder of the external force applied on the body frame is avoided by movement.
