The unit (1) has two frames (13, 14) that are position-changeable relative to each other. The frames engage against each other, in one operating position, and disengage from each other in other operating position. A gap is formed between the frames that are disengaged from each other, and partly limits the frames. A safety device attached to one of the frames (14) and comprises a sensor e.g. motion sensor, that is provided in the gap for detecting presence and/or movement of body belonging to the unit. The sensor detects electromagnetic waves or ultrasonic waves.
