OPTICAL COMMUNICATION PATH SWITCHING APPARATUS, OPTICAL LINE APPARATUS, AND OPTICAL ACCESS SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve unicast, multicast, and broadcast with the same wavelength in an optical access network using an optical switch apparatus and to reduce a change amount of a signal intensity.

SOLUTION: An optical communication path switching apparatus is included in an optical access system including an optical line apparatus communicating with the other network via a gateway and a plurality of optical network apparatuses that are connected with terminals respectively. Referring to an identifier given to a received downlink optical signal, it is determined whether the downlink optical signal is multicast or unicast. The intensity of the downlink optical signal to be output can be changed by the multicast optical signal and the unicast optical signal.
