摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid ejection apparatus ejecting a fluid in a pulsating fashion. <P>SOLUTION: The fluid ejection apparatus 10 includes a pulse generating mechanism 30 and a connection flow channel tube 90. The pulse generating mechanism includes a fluid chamber 120 formed of a diaphragm 70, a wall 82 facing the diaphragm 70 and the inner sidewall 61 of a ring-like spacer 60 arranged between the diaphragm 70 and the wall 82, an inlet flow channel 83 formed of a groove dug in an almost circular arc along the wall 82 so that its proximal end communicates with a connection channel 85 for supplying a fluid and its distal end communicates with the fluid chamber 120, and a piezoelectric element 40 for displacing the diaphragm 70. The connection flow channel tube 90 is inserted into the pulse generating mechanism 30 and has a nozzle 95 that communicates with an outlet fluid channel 88 connected to the fluid chamber 120. A fluid is ejected from the nozzle 95 in a pulsating fashion by compressing the volume of the fluid chamber 120 by means of the diaphragm 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
