<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technologies for accurately detecting CVHR (cyclic variation of heart rate) accompanying the sleep-disordered respiration. <P>SOLUTION: The CVHR detection device 2 computes the amplitude of a high-frequency component of the heart rate variation based on R-R interval time-serial data. The CVHR detection device 2 determines a threshold for the depth of dip as a value intrinsic to each data from the amplitude value of the high-frequency component, and specifies a dip group having the depth larger than the threshold. The CVHR detection device 2 further specifies a dip with similarity in the shape, and further specifies a dip group continuously appearing with periodicity.
