<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine body structure to suppress concentration of a load due to axial force of a bolt when a cylinder head and a cylinder block are fixed by the bolt. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The engine body structure has the cylinder head and the cylinder block, and has a bolt hole 25 for fixing the cylinder head 30 to the cylinder block 20, and a cutout part 26 of cutting out the periphery of the bolt hole 25.
