PURPOSE: An authentication system for providing portable internet service, a server thereof, and a method thereof are provided to cancel locking function of PISIM, thereby enabling a user to use portable internet in a changed portable internet terminal. CONSTITUTION: An information providing server(125) stores subscriber information and terminal addresses about portable internet terminals. When connection to portable Internet is requested from a portable internet terminal in which a smart card is installed, if an address of the terminal is not included in the stored terminal addresses, an authentication server(120) questions validity about the address of the terminal. |
