<p>PURPOSE: An ink composition for a writing instrument is provided to ensure excellent dispersion stability and to maintain superior writing properties for prolonged periods. CONSTITUTION: An ink composition for a writing instrument comprises: an oil component containing dyes and non-dye components; and an aqueous component containing water, a thixotropic agent, a polyhydric alcohol and a pigment, dispersed in the oil component, wherein the IOB value for all of the dyes in the oil component is no greater than 0.9.</p> |
