PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition for plastic lens shaping molds which facilitates removal of resin stains attached to plastic lens shaping molds, and to provide a method for cleaning up glass dies constituting plastic lens shaping molds using the same, and a method for producing plastic lenses. SOLUTION: The detergent composition for plastic lens shaping molds contains at least one phenyl ether selected from a phenyl ether represented by general formula (1) and a phenyl ether represented by general formula (2).
