PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease composition capable of expressing a low friction coefficient in a wide temperature range from a low-temperature range to a high-temperature range. SOLUTION: The grease composition comprises: a base oil; a thickener based on metallic soap consisting of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of lithium, calcium, magnesium and aluminum and aliphatic acids containing at least one selected from the group consisting of hydroxyl, carboxyl and metal carboxylate groups in a molecular structure; and nanoparticles consisting of at least one selected from the group consisting of oxides, carbides and diamond.
