PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information management device capable of enhancing convenience when a person with proper authority handles information to be managed for which identification information is set. SOLUTION: The information management device 4 includes an image recording unit 19 for storing image data received from an image recording device 3, and a storage unit 20 for storing the identification information of the image data. The identification information is, for example, a password which is set when the image data are recorded, and requested to be inputted when the image data are referred to. If the new password set when image data are newly recorded is different from the old password stored in the storage unit 20 as a password corresponding to the image data stored in the image recording unit 19, the information management device 4 performs processing for rewriting the old password stored in the storage unit 20 with a new password to be newly set.
