<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass chopped strand mat which secures flexibility and rigidity necessary for molded products when used as a reinforcing material of molded products such as an automotive molded ceiling material, and can surely suppress the situation causing partial fracture and generating surface sink on the molded products when drawn out from a mat roll so as to be used. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The production method of the glass chopped strand mat comprises rolling and cooling a sheet-like deposit 10b passed through a heating oven 17 to fuse a binder P by using a water-cooling roll 2a and water-cooling roll 2b of a cooling and rolling mill 1. The water-cooling rolls 2a and 2b vertically form a pair and a rubber layer 3 is fixed on the periphery of the lower side water-cooling roll, which rubber layer 3 has 3 mm thickness, 60 degree hardness measured value measured with a type A durometer based on JIS K6253 and heat resistance.
