<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a model material by building up a buildup agent on a core material having a predetermined shape and curing the same, the method capable of preventing a coating surface from being recessed and being cracked by a temperature change of the model. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the method of building up the buildup agent on the core material by mixing the buildup agent for the model material and spouting the same with a two-liquid injection machine, an opening of the spouting die of the two-liquid injection machine is trapezoidal: the buildup agent is built up while the longer side of the trapezoidal shape as the lower bottom side is in contact with the core material; the length of the upper bottom of the trapezoidal shape is 80 to 95% of the length of the lower bottom; and the buildup agent is at least one selected from a group comprising a two liquid curable type urethane resin and a two liquid curable type epoxy resin.
