Novel inverse latices based on fatty alcohol ethers of formula R1-O-R2 (I) in which R1 and R2 represent, independently from one another, a linear or branched alkyl radical comprising from 5 to 18 carbon atoms; and cosmetic, dermocosmetic, dermopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical compositions comprising them.
