<p>PURPOSE: A receiving mode converting device for converting a receiving mode into a bell sound mode using mode change authentication information and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to efficiently have an emergent call with a counterpart person who can not recognize call receiving of a receiving terminal which is set in a silent mode if necessary. CONSTITUTION: An authentication information input unit(331) generates an authentication information input window. The authentication information input unit receives authentication information for receiving mode conversion of a counterpart call terminal through the input window. A memory(322) stores a comparison information list for receiving mode conversion. An authenticator(333) determines whether authentication information received from another phone terminal is included in the comparison information list. A mode changing unit(340) changes a preset receiving mode into another receiving mode according to the determining result of the authenticator.</p> |
