PURPOSE: An object tracking method and a device thereof are provided to generate object information by considering the size change and angle change of an object and only using an object area in order to track the object. CONSTITUTION: An object tracking method comprises the following steps: receiving an image and designating a tracking object(501); calculating the characteristic value of a tracking object candidate in the tracking object and predetermined location(503); displaying an image by estimating the location change, size change, and angle change of the tracking object using the characteristic value of the tracking object candidate(519).
