A steering system comprises: a steered tire (70); a steering control device (90) that controls the movement of the steered tire (70) from a first operating position (P1); and a steering control mount (84) that supports the steering control device (90) and is configured to allow the steering control device (70) to rotate to a second operating position (P2) opposite the first operating position (P1), where a rotational steering sense (CW, CCW) of the steering control device (70) in the first operating position (P1) is reversed as compared with a rotational steering sense (CW, CCW) of the steering control device (70) in the second operating position (P2).
